I am attending the Skyfest air show at Daytona Beach, Florida, on Saturday October 29th. If all goes well, I'll have some new additions for the gallery. There is supposed to be an A-10 Warthog, a P-51 Mustang, F-15, F-16, and F-18 as well as many other phenominal aircraft on display, and flying. Some of these planes (i.e. the A-10) are not on display in any of the museums I've been to, mainly because they are aircraft that are still in active service. Seems most museums only display retired aircraft for the most part. There are a few exceptions of course, but the point is, this is my one opportunity to get some actual photos of some of these aircraft. So I'm really looking forward to it! I hope to get some excellent photos especially of the A-10, since it is a low flying, slower aircraft. There is supposed to be some pyrotechnic displays on the ground when the A-10 flys over, simulating bombs detonating or something. I really hope I get some nice captures of that! Airplanes and fire are two of my favourite things! Of course, maybe not so much if the two are mixed in certain circumstances... but in this case I think it will be cool. Just wouldn't want to be on a plane that was on fire! So anyway, keep an eye out for some new stuff coming soon!
